Coast Nisku Inn & Conference Centre

Our 2024 destination property

Our host hotel, Coast Nisku Inn & Conference Centre in Nisku Alberta, is located 40 minutes south of Edmonton - Alberta’s capital - and a short six-minute drive from Edmonton International Airport. Despite its size, this charming community has a much more to offer than meets the eye.

Established in the 1950s as a service center catering to the oil and gas industry, Nisku derives its name from local businessman, the owner of a trucking company. Over the years, this service center has undergone significant growth, achieving village status in the 1970s and, more recently, obtaining hamlet status in 1995.

As the saying goes, great things often come in small packages, and the same can be said for Nisku. Beyond retaining essential services for the oil and gas industry, such as the Nisku Truck Stop featuring a diverse array of trucks and trailers on display, the town offers something for everyone—whether you're passionate about history, nature, or seeking unique experiences, a visit to Nisku is truly worthwhile.
